LOS ANGELES, Oct. 31 — Younger men with prostate cancer benefit just as much from brachytherapy as older men, a researcher said here.Younger age is often thought to predict a worse outcome after radiation, but for radioactive seed implants that’s not true, according to Alice Ho, M.D., of the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Dr. Ho conducted the study at New York’s Mount Sinai Medical Center. Action Points
